Adrian is enjoying the third age of his career, having moved into the public sector by joining the Ministry of Justice in 2017. He applies extensive knowledge and experience in cyber security issues such as incident response, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence. Generally, he prefers to avoid giving a “Computer Says No” response to security questions. A more positive and pragmatic answer is better for everyone! Prior to becoming a Civil Servant, he worked in industry, including 17 years with IBM, and before that working in the telecommunications and retail banking sectors. He began his career as a University Lecturer, researching Information Systems and Computer Security.
